Would it be possible to have a SOLO game?
Something that I was hoping to find when I joined was the ability to play against either a dummy hand or even just play a null (goldfish) game to see how maybe 100 deals go, or to just try and test out the probability and viability of newer deck builds. Thanks!
Thanks for the interest, this is now planned with a SOLO game mode, with which both players will be you. Just to note that this is not a computer opponent. I’ll update this again when the task is completed.
Hope to see you in the game!
Essentially the ability to play a game without an opponent would help with deck building since I either have to setup a second account to pass or wait for a game, potentially against a new player who won't even enjoy playing against a higher tier deck when they could play another newer player, when I just want to run consistency checks. Although I guess this isn't too pressing since I can do the alt-account thing.
While I'm at it, is there any way to return some sort of market feature of something again since the ink system seems to make the barriers to playing on tcgone bigger. Whilst it now easier to afford rocket's zapdos, maybe a new system entirely is needed since there is starting to be a slight problem for newer players of not being able to get into the meta.
This sounds really good. I have had sometimes difficulties when knowing that one card might be my disadvantage so it would be a really good idea to practice against it, in order to know how to react when i encounter it.
Use the existing interface to practice set-ups by yourself. The system shuffles and deals the cards and then you play out turn one by yourself to see how well your deck sets up.
This is very useful for competitive players when they want to see how a specific deck does against some other specific deck, since the chance of meeting that specific deck through playing against random persons is rather small.
Admin should absolutely put a SOLO game for new player's SAKE!
Because the reason some players kept quitting is because they knew it would be badly hopeless! (either facing against powerful decks, or they have very terrible luck)
SOLO game! SOLO game!
Well I can try to help you Inquest508 that is when I am available :)
I am a brand new player, and what I find to be the most annoying thing is that due to there being no player skill/level matching system I am constantly going against people who are WAY too strong, leaving me with no way to either test my deck or play a real good game.
