Improve Server Stability
Ever since update 14.7, I have noticed that the connection to the server has become less stable. I discovered this difference by playing matches between my desktop and laptop computers.
Before the update, there was little difference in lag between them. Ever since the update, the laptop has a significantly longer delay when performing actions, like ending a turn or activating a pokemon power. Sometimes there is no delay, and sometimes there is a delay that lasts a couple seconds. Methods that reduce latency, like rebooting the modem and using an Ethernet cable do not remove the latency. This has led me to conclude that the server is cause of the recent latency problem.
There have also been more complaints of the game freezing since the update.
There were significant improvements with v14.8.3-v15.0.1 patches.
Another thing to remember is: The server resides in EU. It means there will be some unavoidable latency on other continents. We cannot support multiple servers due to economic reasons, currently.
I will close this issue now. It can be opened later on.

I noticed that there are a few factors that contribute to the server instability.
1). The Game Log
I notice that there is little latency at the start of the game, but the latency becomes more significant as the game goes on, and that latency occurs just before the game log lists what happened. I think that having the option to keep the game log hidden until you want to access it would be a good idea.
Another option could be to show the latest 5-10 lines of the game log and keep the rest hidden unless a player wants to see the entire game log, but this may not fix the issue.
2). Fade Effects
This one is not as significant, but I notice that their is latency before a window appears or disappears. A solution would be either to remove the fade effect entirely, or allow players to turn fade effects on or off.
3). Aesthetic elements such as smooth text, etc.
This probably only has minor significance, but giving players the option to turn various aesthetics of the game on and off would be helpful in reducing latency. Graphics play a huge role in latency and even minor graphic changes can have an impact.
